The Hospice de Huerfanos de Costa Rica, belongs to the Voluntariado Vicentino (a private voluntary organization), they have joined the PANI (Patronato Nacional de la Infancia) which is the government institution related to the orphans children in the country.
The institution is supported on a 30 % by the government; the rest is cover by sponsor’s donations, and they are always in need for more funds in order to help more children.

The children in the institution are all in social risk and they have a tremendous lack of love and family support.
The institution has room to receive about 200 children, but only resources for half of this amount.
Any donation will be used to benefit the children directly, with their basic needs; a percentage of the donations will also be used   to raise more funds.

The Orphaned is located in Vista de Mar, Goicochea, 4, 5 kilometers east, to the road to Coronado.  It is a big property with green areas designated for the children to play and other fields for farming.
The age of children goes from 0 to 13 years old, girls and boys.  They all lived in
“Casitas “with capacity for 10 to 12 children.

Each of those little houses has 1 adult in charge of the care of those children, they are provided with psychological help, education, religion, and moral bases, as well as food, clothing, health and recreation.
